Up late at Nuit Blanche 2010

Art ruled during last night’s sunset-to-sunrise street festival known as Nuit Blanche. Thousands of culture-hungry wanderers braved frigid temperatures to take in an eclectic mix of exhibits, performance art and light installations staged throughout the downtown core.

Here are some of the highlights from Nuit Blanche 2010:

  1. Ahhhh! Endgame looks awesome! That definitely would have won ‘best thing I saw at Nuit Blanche’. However, the ‘best thing I ate at Nuit Blanche’ went to a chicken shawarma from Pita Q on Yonge. Best shawarms in town!

    • Endgame did look pretty crazy! However, it did haunt my dreams that night (on account of my mild coulrophobia).

As for Nuit Blanche eats, I settled for city hall sausage since the line-ups for the fry trucks were infuriatingly long. If it weren’t for the musical stylings of Neil Young playing nearby, I would have gone loco.
